Miniature & Instrument

Miniature and instrument bearings are compact, provide high performance, and carry moderate radial and thrust loads. Made of stainless steel to resist corrosion or chrome for long life, these bearings come open, shielded, flanged, or unflanged. They are also available with either crown or ribbon metallic cages, multiple types of composite cages, and in angular and radial contact angles. Built to withstand high and low temperatures, corrosive materials, and high speeds, miniature and instrument bearings are ideal for aerospace and aircraft applications as well as servo motors, surgical devices, and gimbals.

Unflanged open crown cage bearing

The construction of these bearings enables them to carry moderate radial and thrust loads at low operating torque while providing high performance within a small design. Miniature and instrument bearings are available in stainless steel for those applications requiring corrosion resistance, and chrome for maximum fatigue life. Stainless steel or chrome steel bearings are available with crown or ribbon type metallic cages. Open or shielded bearings may be flanged or unflanged. Bearings are available in angular and radial contact angles and can be custom lubricated to meet your specific needs.
